Before switching to Mindpack I was using a very large and well established provider to host my blog and photos. I can't begin to tell you the frustration I had with my site, which was often slow and suffering from serious lag whenever someone tried to view it. Additionally, sometimes when I wanted to log into my blog, it would time out and I would have to reload the page and try again. Originally I blamed this on my blog service and thought there was nothing I could do, it was just one of the downsides to self-hosting (so I thought). But finally after a year of this, I switched hosting providers to Mindpack and the difference was night and day. My site and photos loaded super fast and I never had any more problems logging in. The reps at Mindpack tell me its normal for some of the big providers to oversell their bandwidth to such a degree that sites like mine take forever to load. Regardless, I'm very very glad I switched.
