The start of any web site query or e-mail send, begins with a DNS request. Mindpack Studios Inc. operates its very own hosting facility located in Northwest Indiana. This hosting facility houses our redundant DNS servers,web servers, and mail servers. Changes on these servers can be made within minutes, and a global DNS update can take as little at 5 minutes. This means to the lay person that, in the event of primary hosting system failure, we can re-route data requests to our secondary backup server within minutes of operation.

Hosting Environment

Popular hosting companies realize that the most expensive link in the hosting environment is the actual administrators of the hosting servers. So, to promise $5/hosting, it has become easier to replace the administrator with armies of low-end pentium chips and bumbling idiots behind the phones.
